Team RAD - volunteering in Laos.

Thu, Jun 22nd 2017 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

President Pauline told us about her recent work in a Children's Hospital in Laos.

Welcomed with enthusiastic applause President Pauline gave a fascinating and beautifully illustrated presentation about her time in Laos at the Laos Friends Children's Hospital. She told us all about the hospital itself [founded with the support of President Obama] and the facilities which are there and which are continuously developing and improving. Pauline does like her photos so there were lots for us to admire and a few that produced a tear or two.The Team RAD members are doing a great job out there and Pauline's enthusiasm and delight in helping others was very evident. As has always been the case, Pauline has shown us everything that is good about Rotary and is a shining example of 'Service above self'.
