SVP Robert Main outlining the work of the Service Projects Committee


23 Members attended the weekly meeting of The Rotary Club of Kirkcaldy at the Dean Park Hotel on Tuesday 3rd April.

Presidents business included an update from Zahid on the Veuve Clicquot evening scheduled for the 11th May, Kingdom FM are going to assist with publicising the event and to date 225 tickets have been booked, the target is to sell 300 tickets.

Secretaries announcements served as a reminder of the Council meeting and AGM scheduled for next week.

As it was a Club affairs day there was no speaker, instead SVP Robert Main highlighted the work of the service projects committee which included the Laws Close project, the station gardens and the recent Mercat community event. Robert touched on the link and proposed future engagement with Kirkcaldy YMCA in assisting the youth within the community. Robert also provided an update on the Ingolstadt visit which includes visits to Kingsbarns Distillery, a day at Cluny Clays and a fellowship dinner at The Old Manor Hotel.
