Social Meeting at CICCIC, Paul Street, with wives/partners

A total of 50 met at the CICCIC Arts Centre premises in Paul Street, Taunton, for the 5th Monday Social Event open to Wives, partners and guests. Conversation flowed freely, only interrupted by the serving of flat-bread and hummus starter, and a chicken in mustard sauce mains.

Above the hubbub, a lone guitarist strived to emulate Bob Dylan with melodies and songs from past decades. Disco lights flashed, and time sped by.

President Colin thanked the bar staff and Chris Loveluck for his arrangements, and welcomed guests.

Who should be the successful chooser of the Ball Draw cards but the President himself- but he only won the wine, and the kitty stayed intact.

Next Meeting is on 14th August at SCCC, where the Friendship Exchange with India will be further explored.
