Langley Carnival
On July 8th in Langley Memorial Park, the Annual Langley Carnival was held in beautiful sunshine.
The Rotary Club’s stall was a wonderful Tombola, organised by a Rotary ‘friend’ Teresa Fletcher.
Many friends had contributed gifts and time to folding the tickets and the stall was sold out in the early afternoon.
Children’s attention was also taken by the ‘Search and Rescue’ game Ted Holdford had provided. Lifting bodies, cargo and vessels from the water by magnet and ‘helicopter’ was a challenge enjoyed by many, adults and children!
Rotarians also had a chance to promote the Club and Moonraker
A good afternoon was had by all and many thanks to those who helped in all sorts of ways.
