Once again, our very own Peter Cooke and his merry band of helpers delivered a highly successful annual golf day at Bishop Auckland Golf Club.

Mixed weather didn't deter the 32 teams that entered.

Lisa and her staff catered splendidly for everyone throughout the day and the event produced net proceeds of £7000 to go to the Bishop Auckland and Darlington MRI Scanner Appeal.

This figure included a generous donation of £1000 from Barclays Bank, for which we are immensely appreciative

Professor Gerry Murphy and Pat Chambers from the Bishop Auckland and Darlington Hospitals Scanner Appeal Committee were delighted to accept the donation of £7000 from Past President Nigel Bell of the Rotary Club of Bishop Auckland. This sum was raised by the Club's Annual Golf Day Co-ordinated by Rotarian Peter Cooke and included £1000 matched funding by Barclays Bank represented by Michael Poole.
