Rod Hoare was a founder member of the Poundbury Rotary Club, bringing a wealth of knowledge, Rotary background and international skills and enthusiasm. He had a career which would make an amazing book, and some aspects might not be believed!
Sadly, he passed away earlier this year, and in memory of his work not only for the club, but also his work in Dorchester Arts and as a trustee of the Brownsword Hall, the club planted a tree. A small dedication service was held on the 12th July 2017 with Anne and many family members present. The tree is Acer Crimson King (platanoides).
