'The Lighter side of Police Work

In his 30 years service as a police officer he was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with The London Metropolitan Police Bomb Squad, The Criminal Intelligence Branch (the eyes and ears of the F;laying Squad, had involvement with The Kray Twins (which your club members who visited Mirfield now know about) and during his time in the police accumulated tales of humorous incidents. These tales covered his time as a Uniformed officer and also as a Detective Sergeant. he has printed (thanks to Rotary) two books of stories (and cartoons) which sold for the local Hospice.
