Visit Martlesham Police HQ
A very interesting visit to the Suffolk Constabulary Museum at Martlesham Headquarters. The museum deals with Suffolk artefacts and photographs dating back to the very start of policing in the county.
Club members were allowed to try on uniforms, hats and handcuffs! and were also given a demonstration on how to handle a baton. Also on display were various weapons that had been confiscated.

The Club supports many youth activities including "Crucial Crew", a vital educational programme about safety for year 6 schoolchildren in Ipswich, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), Rotary Young Chef competition and supplies Dictionaries 4 Life.

Through this committee we aim to make a difference to those individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves in other countries.
