More than £3,500 was raised by Reading businesses and organisations taking part in a charity golf day in aid of children with disabilities.

More than £3,500 was raised by Reading businesses and organisations taking part in a charity golf day in aid of children with disabilities.
Eighteen teams played in the annual event organised by Reading Abbey Rotary Club at Calcot Park Golf Club.
The majority of money raised was donated to Dingley's Promise, a Thames Valley independent and self-funding charity with a mission to deliver life changing support to under-5s with additional needs and disabilities and their families.
The winning team of the golf day on July 5 was Calcot Casuals with a winning score of 92 stapleford points, second place was Ferriday & Alder and in third place was The London Evening Standard.
 
Prizes awarded on the day included contributions from The French Horn Restaurant, Crowne Plaza Hotel Reading, Osborne Clarke Legal Services, Newbury Racecourse and Business Moves
