Community & Vocational Service/ Keeping Washington Tidy
Throughout the year, our members are supporting local environmental groups in their efforts to keep our community area clean and tidy.
KEEPING WASHINGTON TIDY
At the beginning of the 2017/18 Rotary year our members agreed that we should contribute to the efforts of local groups in their efforts to keep our community tidy. We are committed to a 'hands-on' approach to support the likes of the 'Washington Clean and Green Project' and 'Keep Washington Tidy' and give time to carrying out a litter picking activity every month.
The areas we have focused on so far include the Princess Anne Park, Albany Park and Oxclose Village.
