Supporting R.Y.L.A. camp

We continue to be an avid supporter of Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (R.Y.L.A. camp) with recently welcoming as speakers our Club’s 2016 candidate Maresha Grewal and Jack Webb, our 2017 candidate.

Maresha addressed the club and said R.Y.L.A. had changed her life. Maresha spoke about her experiences in the six weeks of her summer holiday in Thailand where she taught children English as well as telling us about the lighter moments of the trip such as making paper and she brought an example, from Elephant dung !  Our club also gave financial support to Maresha for this trip.

Jack successfully completed the course in 2017 and spoke about his experiences and gave his thanks for the opportunity.
