Rayleigh Mill beats Rochford by the slimmest of margins for the Tony Bakonyvari Trophy

The annual golf match between the Rotary Clubs of Rochford and Rayleigh Mill took place on 19th October and was won by just 1 point by Rayleigh Mill.
Results for the Team game were Rayleigh Mill - 181 points, Rochford - 180 points. Individual winner was Rayleigh Mill's Rob Kitchin with 35 points. Rob also won the nearest the pin and the longest drive was won by Andrew Shackleton, also of Rayleigh Mill.
Tony Bakonyvari was a former member of Rochford Rotary Club and a founder member of the band "Wheelz". The inter-club match was started in Tony's name.
