Brian & Shirley Key's visit to Hythe Rotary Club on Tuesday 24th October 17 at the Stade Court Hotel. Brian is a stalwart of Rotary including his own Rotary Club of Didcot and District 1090. Brian was club President twice 1991-92 & 2010 -11 (2nd time to put right the mistakes he made 1st time) and District Govenor in 1996 - 97. Brian & Shirley are down here staying in Sandgate for a week with their daughter & son in law.
John & Pat Smith (a former member of Didcot Rotary Club) invited Brian & Shirley Key to have lunch at the Stade Court Hotel. Brian was welcomed by President John Wenworth Forster. Brian addressed the Hytje club giving greetings from the DG David Pope District 1090 and Ddcot Rotary club.
It was great to see them both again, and I thank the Hythe club for their fellowship and warm greetings to Brian & Shirley and I apologise to the regular members who occupy Table 1 for acquiring their chairs
