Xmas meeting held at Fife Folk Museum on Thursday 30^th Nov. 2017

Graham Bowen opened the evening by welcoming members, wives and friends and to our Judge Ian Macfarlane & President Colin.

Graham Pirie introduced Ian the judge for our “Reflections” competition who is a member of the Upper Largo camera club. Ian pointed out that this was his first attempt at judging but had enjoyed the experience. He then gave his thoughts on each of the 10 entries, before announcing the results.

Ian then showed slides and talked about some very interesting subjects that the Largo Camera Club chose, how they plan ahead as they meet weekly throughout the year and the fact that they do not do Competitions.

Grant thanked Ian for taking the time to explain his judging methods and for his remarks about each of the photos and that he had passed with flying colours his first foray into Judging.

Our Xmas meal was served by Marian and her staff in the very attractive and recently completed extension to the Fife Folk Museum.

Graham Bowen thanked Marian and her staff, Maurice for organising the slides, Sandy for organising, our guests for joining us and wished us a safe journey home.
