Crocus Planting at Kendal Rugby Club
On Sunday 5th November Kendal South Westmorland Rotarians planted 5,000 purple crocus bulbs at the entrance to the new Kendal Rugby Club.
The crocuses focus attention on Purple for Polio and Rotary International being at the forefront of polio eradication throughout the world, resulting in only 5 cases reported this year.
The immunisation programme needs to continue and the crocuses remind
us of the need to continue this invaluable work.
Hopefully our efforts will be prominent in spring 2018.
