Thursday, April 12th – Board Meeting:
Please see the minutes of the Board Meeting already circulated.
Saturday, April 14th – Car Parking and Stroke Awareness:
Godfrey and Sarah were most grateful to the volunteers who helped with
car parking and taking blood pressures. Godfrey loaned his caravan for the day and over twenty people had their blood pressures taken.
Saturday, April 28th – Gardening at the Whitstable and Tankerton Hospital:
Gardening at the Whit and Tank will take place on Saturday, April 28th. Please sign up on the form in the folder if you can help.
Saturday, April 28th – District Assembly:
The District Assembly will be held on Saturday, April 28th between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm.
Thursday, May 24th:
The Golf Club is not available for breakfast on Thursday, May 24th and Godfrey is organising an alternative venue.
Thursday, May 31st:
Thursday, May 31st will be an evening meeting at the Golf Club. Daphne’s family will be there and the Red Letter Day Raffle will be drawn in her memory.
Weekend of June 8th to 10th – Visit to Apeldoorn:
Andrew B. will have to give numbers to Apeldoorn very soon so please sign up if you have not already done so
Saturday, August 11th - Whitstable Harbour Day:
Pat and Sue are organising the Club participation in Whitstable Harbour day on August 11th and would be glad if everyone who can help, even if only for an hour or so, could sign up on the form in the folder.
Friday, December 7th – Christmas Dinner:
Sue, has made a booking for December 7th at the Turner Hotel which is available and their food is said to be excellent. The cost per person for 50 people would be in the region of £36.00. The entertainment will be provided by a magician.
Table Tennis Evening:
Dave C. has this in hand and form will go in the folder as soon as date is agreed.
Master of Alms:
Paul did the honours.
Raffle:
Godfrey won a bottle of wine.
