ANN SCHAUERMAN

Ann Schauerman has been a local resident for many years and worked in the community as a District Nurse full time until her retirement and now as a bank nurse.

She also works unceasingly and tirelessly, on a voluntary basis, for the local community in many capacities:

1. She is the Vice Chairman of St. Luke's Community Trust Kew and is on the committee of the Avenue Club. She was largely responsible for the paperwork to obtain lottery funding for a Carer & Transport Day. In addition to these duties she is always present to support activities and help with outings for the club.

2. She has been a long term Trustee of Richmond Crossroads and is now Chairman. As well as the committee and paperwork she is very much involved with the Care Support workers in attending all their meetings and advising them on medical matters, using her nursing training. Again she supports all activities of the organisation.

3. She has been a volunteer driver for Integrated Neurological Services.

4. She performs a valuable liaison role between the G.P's and the Carers Centre.

I cannot think of anyone more dedicated to the local community who gives up so much of their time to helping others.

PADDY WOLLEN
