Bringing Harmony To The World

Prouction Studio

Rotary Radio UK

Rotary Radio UK first went live on 13th October 2018.

The Story So Far

In Spring 2017, Invicta members Steve Wood and John Robinson were working in hospital radio and discussed why Rotary did not have its own radio station. The idea grew into facts and figures, a business plan and then taking the ambitious project forward for the support of Rotary Clubs.

The project to establish a radio station for Rotary GB&I was agreed at a District Council Meeting on 15th February 2018. Rotary South East and Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland provided grants for equipment.

The Studios

The original studios were based at The Criterion Heritage Centre on the Isle of Sheppey and on 2nd July 2020 the station moved to new, larger studios at The Oast, Bell Road, Sittingbourne.
