Bexhill Rotary Club Health Awareness Day

Saturday 19th May, 2018

The day of the French Market dawned bright and, despite the rival attractions of the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle and the F.A.Cup Final, the crowds descended for a very successful Health Awareness Day.

Nurse Elena of Bay House Retirement Home and Diana Niland saw 137 people and performed blood pressure tests resulting in 19 of them being recommended to consult their doctors soon and 14 more recommended for urgent appointments. In addition Younique Wellbeing Studios were present to encourage folk to improve their lifestyles..

Community Service Chairman, John Cooper, thanked everyone for their help in making this community health project so successful.
