Around 60 members attended and each club gave a brief presentation outlining their plans for the coming year and beyond. In addition to our regular fund-raising events which, combined, help to raise over £100,000 for good causes annually, ambitious plans for the future were also revealed. These include support for the fight against Alzheimer's, adopting a renewed focus against everyday pollution, supporting many local charities, developing a new fund raising initiative called the "Moveable Feast" and others. New opportunities for cross-club working were also identified
Recognising that the clubs already cooperate on a number of projects, those present were convinced that the clubs should work more closely in a number of additional areas notably Membership and PR.
