Sara Johnson, Community Find Raising Officer, described the work of Leukaemia Care.

Leukaemia Care is a national blood cancer support charity. They ensure anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. Help for GPs is particularly important since leukaemia is difficult to diagnose. They also provide a 24 hour careline, campaigns, advocacy and support groups. A Durham support group is about to be established which Durham Rotary may help in the future.
