Elworth Hall School RotaKids

Elworth Hall School RotaKids sponsorded by Rotary Club of Sandbach & Sandbach Crosses. The third RotaKids Club in Sandbach was started in September 2017.

The first project was a pumpkin carving contest done at home, not in school. This raised £48! This was followed by the planting of "Purple for Polio" crocus bulbs. Pots were collected and decorated by the members then soil was donated by Homebase following a letter from the chldren and then a work party of Rotarian helpers assisted by the members with planting the bulbs. Many of the pots were then sold at the school Christmas Fair with more being sold in town outside Williams' grocery store. In all nearly £124 has been raised from sales.

All remaining bulbs will be planted in the school.

Next they plan to visit the residents at Turnpike Court elderly peoples home in Elworth.
