Organisers : the Cambridge Sawston Rotary Club with Cambridge South supporting with car parking and stewards etc


WELL DONE ALL - and thanks to David, Terry, Mavis, Vicky, Alan, Jan, Mike, James, Duncan and Sian for turning out very early on the day !

This Great Annual Event raises money for charity while having fun along the way.

More than a thousand runners registered and they were efficiently organised and encouraged all the way through.

Car Parks Open 8.45am, Race starts 10.30am, closing at 12.15pm.

The Run / Walk has 2 routes to choose from :

Short for under 11yr olds & anyone else - 3.8K  (2.4 m) - PINK

Long for Adults & Over 11 yr olds - 7.4K  (4.6m) - YELLOW

Trophies go to the first 3 in each age group.

LOADS OF PEOPLE COME IN FANCY DRESS - What wereYOU ?

We saw Thor, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Darth Vadar, a Big Bad Wolf, tin cans, fairy tutus and lots more !

Also we enjoyed the Mass Warm-Up, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Food Stalls, the Sawston Youth Group Band and the Fire Engine.

Huge Thanks goes to the Major Sponsor - The Cambridge Building Society - for providing underpinning finance plus lots of helping hands on the day.
