Tree Planting at The Marches School

Wed, Apr 18th 2018 at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Part of Foundation Committee's plan to plant a tree for every Rotarian.

Tree planting at The Marches

The Marches School was given a little face-lift over the Easter holidays as Eco-Committee pupils joined forces with school governors and Oswestry Rotary Club members to plant new trees.

Despite the weather trying its best to dampen spirits, the trees were successfully planted and now take pride of place at the front of the school.

The trees donated were 2 oak trees from Shropshire Council with the help of the school's Eco-Committee and 5 other trees accessed via Anna Doggart one of the school governors.

Mark Liquorish played a key part as member of Oswestry Rotary Club and Chairman of Governors at The Marches.
