After a less than memorable Pitch and Putt ( in terms of our score) we come to the last event in this year's calendar.

Outdoor Bowls

St Mary's Bowls Club , St Mary's Park Vicarage Road Brixham TQ5 9RE

Thursday 7th June

5.30 practice - 6.00 start

Cost £10 includes fish & chips (which are very good)

Bar is cheap.

We need 8 willing volunteers some of which I hope know how to play the game - although sometimes this is not always an advantage.

We are currently 4 points behind Dartmouth with 10 points available on the night - so we have a chance of overhauling them.

There is a round robin at Club but as tonight is a partners night and next week we are away most of you will not have seen it.

If you would like to play (or just come along for the fish &chips) could you let me know as soon as possible

Paul passed a year ago and we commemorated the sad event by sporting his famous ties

The Winners with the head teacher and the President

Eight Amazon gift cards were given out by the President in a local competition sponsored by our club. The primary school children were totally surprised by the generosity of the prizes.

We provided £200 to ensure that a larder could be constructed

An annual Get-together

£2,000 donation formally acknowledged by RNLI Brixham. The money is to be allocated to their Kilimanjaro Fund which is approaching their target of £100,000
