Club members visit our mother club of Rutherglen

The last week in May was one of our 'scatter weeks' so instead of having our normal Wednesday meeting a group of 4 Cambuslang Rotarians visited our neighbours at Rutherglen Rotary. We actually share the same venue at the Kings Park Hotel but Rutherglen meet on a Thursday evening at the slightly earlier time of 5.30pm for 6pm.

As we look forward to our 50th Anniversary next session, Rutherglen, who are our mother club will be celebrating their 75th Anniversary so there was lots of interesting topics to chat about over dinner. President Elect, Robert Dickie passed on greetings to President Pat Paul from all the Cambuslang Rotarians. Many thanks to our fellow Rotarians for a very pleasant evening.
