Luncheon

Wed, Jul 18th 2018 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Speaker: Peter Harwood. Subject: Twenty years of supporting victims and witnesses in Guernsey

Peter Harwood is Chair of the Bailiwick of Guernsey Victim Support and Witness Service LBG.

The Charity for victims and witnesses in Guernsey celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year with over 21 volunteers and an administration team of one and a half full time equivalents offering support for over 700 victims and witnesses a year. Because the service works closely with professionals from the Court system, the police and other officials few people realise that it is a charity reliant upon public support for approximately half of its annual costs.
