Brora Rotakids Tea Party
The super Rotakids of Brora Primary School held a “Community Tea Party” in the school to thank locals of all ages for their support during the past year. A year that has seen these young Rotarians help with beach cleaning, Tern Conservation, Polio Swims and Water Conservation amongst many other projects. Their excellent effort in sending 101 Satchels to Africa to help young people there enjoy the education we take for granted was a highlight of their year. The kids raised the cash for the party by bag packing and decided to spend some of it on giving back to those who help them and encourage them in Brora. They and their teachers and parents baked all night then set up the school hall ready to welcome their guests with every member given a special task be it the Seat and Greet, the service of teas and cakes or the clearing and the washing up, all good training for which their parents are grateful.
