Members carried out routine maintenance at the Shepshed Charnwood Rotary Corner located within the Shepshed wellbeing and sensory garden.
The garden, now three years old, provides a small oasis for people who may not have use of all their five senses, but can enjoy the different aspects that are around them.
Residents are able to take part in activities in the garden, including potting plants and helping to tend the flowerbeds. The garden also offers a seating area, for visitors and friends to spend time with residents.
This has been an exciting project to be involved with and the sensory garden will be a great asset to the area for many years to come.
