Kerry Reilly - the 175th Anniversary of the YMCA - visitors welcome

Kerry Reilly was appointed Chief Executive of YMCA Scotland in January 2015. She is currently seconded one day per week to YMCA Europe as Director of the YMCA Europe 175th Anniversary event in 2019. She has worked locally, nationally and internationally in the YMCA movement for over 25 years. Kerry’s particularly areas of interest are youth work, youth leadership development and international work.

Kerry has been involved in many pieces of International YMCA work including chairing the YMCA Europe Social Inclusion Programme group from 2001-2006 and chairing the Steering Group for the 2013 YMCA Europe International Youth Festival. She currently Chairs the ‘Support for YMCA in Russia’ group and is also a trustee of YCare International.

Kerry has a Degree in Engineering from the University of Leeds and a Masters of Education in Community Education from Northern College of Education. Kerry lives in East Lothian with her husband and two children and is an elder in the Church of Scotland.

Charlie Boax, who attends Grange Academy, was the winner of our local Rotary Young Musician competition. On Sunday, 23 April 2023, Charlie competed in the RIGBI Young Musician Final in Manchester and was again successful.
