Gwen will be talking about the regeneration of Kilmarnock.
A little bit about her background -
Gwen is the Council's Policy, Planning and Performance Manager and has worked in local government in a variety of roles since 1995. She currently has responsibility for Community Planning, Best Value, Communications, Equalities and Business Support across the Council. In addition, she has recently been given the task of setting out an ambitious long term strategy for the regeneration of Kilmarnock Town Centre which will be the focus of the presentation and discussion session on the 9th and for the wider community led regeneration strategy for East Ayrshire.
Since assuming this role at the end of last year she has been engaging with a number of individuals, organisations and community groups to listen to their views and ideas for the regeneration of the town centre and she is looking forward to her meeting with us on the 9th May.
