Barge lunch on Pontcysyllte Viaduct

Wed, Jul 10th 2019 at 11:30 am - 4:30 pm

This was another enjoyable, purely social, event instead of one of our weekly meetings.

We met at the Poachers in Chirk for a tasty lunch before heading to Llangollen and the canal boat - we were transported by bus to the boat near the Pontcysyllte Viaduct where we boarded. We were lucky that, with the 15 of us, we were able to sit at the front which gave great views and the opportunity for chatting and laughing. You can see more on the photos but it was a very enjoyable day out - maybe we will do the lunch boat next time?
