A year ago, Welsh schoolgirl Elan Catrin Parry made a pledge to Davina McCall on ITV’s life-transforming primetime show, This Time Next Year TV Show, revealing her dream: “I want to make an album.” Fast forward one year, and Elan has signed a major recording deal with Decca Records. The 15-year-old has had enormous success with her debut single Anfonaf Angel, and her incredible first album was released on Friday 3rd August .
The Movement Centre are very lucky to have the Rhos Orpheus Male Voice Choir and Elan performing at Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday 17th October for an evening of spectacular singing. This will be a charity event in aid of The Movement Centre who cannot thank them enough for donating their time and wonderful voices to help support our children’s charity.
Why not visit Elan’s Facebook page and see for yourself how good she is.
£10 early bird ticket available until August 31st.
The Movement Centre
Based in Shropshire, The Movement Centre is a charity providing a specialist therapy for children, called Targeted Training.
The children who come to The Movement Centre have a disability that affects their movement control, such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome or Global Developmental Delay. This means they may be unable to lift their head, to sit without support or find it challenging to stand or take their first steps.
Targeted Training draws on specialist physiotherapy and bioengineering. It has been developed at The Movement Centre over the last 20 years, using clinical trials, audit and research. It is different from other therapies because it works by placing a child in an upright position and it uses specialist equipment to provide stability and support.
