REPORT ON LOCAL HEAT
Nine students from the Academy took part in the competition which was of a high standard. The students had to prepare a two course meal and present it with their own table settings. There were three judges, Ian Corkhill and Jen McGill from St Helens College and Antony O'Garra a local chef.
The winners were:
1st Faith Riddell
2nd Niamh O'Kelly
3rd Ruby Neeley
Prizes were awarded by the Mayor and Mayoress of St Helens.
Congratulations to all students who took part in this years heat in what was a competition of high standards.
The three winners go forward to the 2nd semi-final of our District competition at Kingsway School, Cheadle on December 13.
