NEW DEFIBRILLATOR HANDED OVER

The second of two Rotary sponsored defibrillators is now in operation

A Community Access Defibrillator was handed over to the Chard Defibrillator Project by Club President Mike Trott on 30th October. The unit has been installed at Tawstock Medical Centre and is located immediately adjacent to the main entrance of the building.

This is the second defibrillator sponsored by Chard Rotary Club and this has only been achievable as the result of a Foundation Grant recieved from Rotary District 1200 funds.

The two units will be part of a town wide project in which 10 or more defibrillators will be fitted for the benefit of the community.
