Avril Parr gave the club an insight into the workings of Claire House Hospice and the many services it offers to children with terminal illness and their parents. She also mentioned the new project in Liverpool. The talk was inspirational and the club recognises the valuable work the organisation is involved in. It was agreed to donate £500 to this charity.
