District Final Youth Speaks (Senior) Glasgow Caledonian University

Sun, Feb 17th 2019 at 4:00 pm - 4:00 pm

On Sunday 17th February 2019 our team from Hutchesons’ Grammar School represented our Club.

On Sunday 17th February 2019 our team from Hutchesons’ Grammar School represented our Club in the Senior Competition of The District 1230 Final of Youth Speaks at Glasgow Caledonian University.  With 8 teams participating and the Team members from Hutchesons: Grammar School being only 14 years of age  and by far the youngest in the Final we are delighted to advise that they were runners up and have therefore qualified to represent District 1230 along with the winners from St Andrew’s and St Brides High School, East Kilbride at the Regional Final to be held at Stirling University on 16 March.  We must also congratulate their Teacher, Mrs Jennifer Leonard for her dedication and support for the teams entered into this Competition and also our own Glasgow Schools Public Speaking Competition.
