Tunstall Villagers Support
End Polio Now Campaign

A busy morning on 10th November was spent in Tunstall when villagers worked together to plant 3,000 bulbs in St John The Baptist churchyard. It proved to be a fun morning with lots of laughter and ending with a rewarding cuppa and cake. In springtime next year there will be a lovely show of daffodils, narcissi and crocus flowers. The bulbs were donated by the Rotary Club of Lunesdale and the planting was organised by Rotarian John Clare. The purple crocus is the flower chosen to focus attention on the worldwide campaign.
