Weekly Meeting at SCCC

Mon, Feb 18th 2019 at 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Communications - Use of Club website

35 Club Members attended the Meeting and the presentation on the Club's and Rotary GB&I's websites was introduced by Richard Goring and detailed by Andrew Janes. The scene was somewhat like an American Drive-In with Club Members watching their own screens - if they could get connected via the SCCC system - as well as Andrew's comprehensive presentation on the big screen.

Andrew clearly understands the system, and he took those present through the Log-in procedures and the subsequent content of the public and Members' pages. His expertise must be nurtured so that more Club Members make more use of the available Rotary web site information. Well done Andrew!

Rory encouraged Members to look at 'My Rotary' for information on Rotary projects.

Richard then took over and gave a brief update on 'Whats App'. He wants to use this as another Club Communication medium in order to address the ' I don't know what is going on' feeling among some Club Members. It is still work in progress, but will be tested among some Club Members in the coming months.
