This autumn Cambuslang Rotary Club was delighted to launch a new art challenge for secondary school pupils in a joint project with the Rail 74 Community Rail Partnership. The pupils were asked to design a poster promoting the green and eco-friendly benefits of rail travel over non electric cars and buses.
Our winner was Awele Nwachukwu from Trinity High School with her poster entitled 'Get on the right track to an eco-friendly lifestyle'. Awele won herself £50 of vouchers and a similar amount was presented to her school for design materials.
The club would like to thank all the young people who took part and especial thanks to Rail 74 for sponsoring the competition and providing the prize money.
