Rotakids and LMG Combine for a painting session

LMG and RotaKids Session 24/1/19

Once again the Narberth & Whitland Rotary Club assisted the senior age members of  Living Memories Group (LMG) and youngsters in RotaKids in their joint efforts to produce some artwork at The Narberth Primary School by kind permission of Head Teacher Nia Ward and her excellent staff.

The two-hour session took place in the School Hall and gives the opportunity to the children and Elderly to socialise and enjoy a community activity. The benefits to sufferers of Dementia-related illness or loneliness are enormous giving them confidence to meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays each month.

The next joint meeting of the LMG with the Narberth RotaKids will be at the Primary School on Thursday 7th February at 1.30 - 3.30pm. Later in the month on the 21st Feb the LMG will meet at the narberth Museum where the "Elderly Brothers" quintet will entertain them with guitar-accompanied sing song. Persons or carers wishing to come along are welcome to join in. There is no membership or joining fee. It is entirely free of charge. During the two hour sessions  between 1.30 and 3.30pm free refreshments are served.
