ROTARY CHRISTMAS TREE IN LYNDHURST

Thu, Dec 13th 2018 at 12:00 am -

Ken and Sally made a splendid show of the Rotary Club Christmas Tree in the Festival in St Michael's Church. More details below.

The Friends of Lyndhurst Surgery arrange a Christmas Tree Festival in St Michael and All Angels Church in Lyndhurst High Street from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 December.  This by-annual event proves very popular with many visitors, notably at the Festival Concert on the Friday evening.   Over 40 clubs and organisations brought trees and decorated them this year.

Our tree had a brilliant position just inside the main entrance and Ken and Sally took full advantage of this and if there had been a competition it woud have surely have won an award. They made a dual feature of  End Polio Now and Shelterbox.

Well done Ken and Sally and also Frank and Freda who worked in the background this year.
