The tournament underway

The Technology Tournament sees about 100 pupils from schools across Calderdale compete to build an engineering project, with a Brief and materials provided on the day. There are categories for Junior, Intermediate and Advanced teams, each with four pupils. Marks are awarded for their design portfolio, how well the Brief is adhered to and how well the target task is achieved.Principally organised by the Rotary Club of Halifax, we ensure local Brighouse schools take part and attend to help the day go smoothly as judges or assistants.
