Lee and Chris

Lee Brownson and Chris Walkinshaw gave us the latest update on the Auckland Project.

Auckland Castle has been the residence of the Bishop of Durham for many years but it became for sale in 2011 when the Bishop ceased to reside there. In 2012, the charity, founded by Jonathan Ruffer, was launched to protect the castle and its art collection. The aim of the charity is to create a world class visitor centre.

We heard about some exciting new projects all of which can be found here: https://www.aucklandproject.org/future-plans/
