Our monthly business meeting

Malcolm Hamlyn (40 years), Charles Hirons (30 years) and David Axon (25 years) have seen a lot of changes to Rotary since they joined, not least the introduction of women 30 years ago. This club was the first of the (then) three Chelmsford clubs to invite women in the year 2000.

Rotary is continuing to evolve to meet the changing work patterns of the 21st century and there are now six Clubs in Chelmsford that prospective Rotarians can join, including the new Rotary Satellite Club of Chelmsford City, a family-friendly Club that meets just for an hour over coffee on alternate Saturday mornings.
