YOUTH GRANTS AND SPORT

Our 4 successful candidates in our Youth Grants scheme gave us a brief biopic about their sporting achievements to date and their hopes and aspirations for the future.
Hannah Irving an Acrobatic Gymnast a pupil from Balerno High and 3 pupils from Currie High, Anna Purves - Judo, Euan McLellan - Artistic Gymnast and Mary Kong – Badminton all received £250 to help them progress towards even greater success. They represented Scotland and or Britain in their chosen disciplines. Their many achievements include Scottish schools under 18 champion (Mary), Grand Prix champion (Anna) and Hannah and Euan outstanding medallist Gymnasts.  
They promised to keep us informed of their progress. Watch this space as potential Commonwealth Games or Olympic athletes were in the room. Fantastic achievements and great goals from star sports people.
