    … hit the reply to this email (DNAPQUIZ@gmail.com) saying ‘RESERVE ME A TABLE’ I shall quickly reply telling you how to pay (providing there are still tables available).

  3. PAY
    … all tables will be allocated from the front, in the order of monies received – no special treatment for any Rotary volunteer.

You may purchase a table (a max of 7 people per table) for £130
Call your friends today to decide who will lead your team and buy a table. There are only 16 tables available, no space for more and tables will be allocated from the front in order of money received.


FORMAT OF EVENING

The quiz evening, our tenth, will follow the usual format; multi-media quiz, bread, cheese, wine, Loose Cannon beer (+ bottles of fizz this year), and raffle.  
We are now able to take payment for the beer and additional bottles of wine with a
credit card
.  
Our thanks go to Majestic Wine and Loose Cannon for their support this year.



THE PROCEEDS

Our surplus last year was £1,600, a sum we would like to better so we can continue to support the many deserving local youth and international charities who look to Rotary for help.

  •                - R2 (Get me out of here), R3 (Sport) and R4 (Match the music to a clue)

  •                - Break for Bread, Cheese, Pickle,

  •                - Sale of raffle tickets during the break

  •                - R5 (Literary Characters) and R6 (Missing Link)

  •                - Draw of raffle prizes

  •                - R7 (Comedy clips)

  •                - Announcement of winners

  • 10:30 pm - Close 


 


TO BOOK A TABLE


  1. Book a table by sending me an email (dnapquiz@gmail.com) 
    … I shall reply within a couple of days to confirm there is (or isn’t) a table, and give you instructions on how to pay; there will be a time limit on me receiving payment before the table is released for re-sale.


Once your £130 has been received, you will be advised which table has been allocated.
First come – first served basis, allocating tables from the front as payment is received.

Installing water tanks in Africa

We worked with the Nasio Trust to install water tanks in Tanzania, to provide safe drinking water. Ground water in the region is heavily fluoridised and causes health problems for the population.

The Club's foreign conscience - here immunising under-fives in India against Polio. There is no cure for Polio but it is preventable with a vaccine. Only two countries now remain endemic. We’ve reduced cases by 99.9% since 1988
