Speaker: Pam Mitchell: "Jane Haining - Heroic Martyr"

Pam became involved in the Jane Haining story in 1991 and has hosted Hungarian students annually since then. 

The opening of the Heritage Centre in Dunscore Church In 2017 has increased the awareness of Jane Haining’s life and sacrifice. 

Pam is very involved in the running of this centre.

Pam now retired, taught in Dunscore school and other schools in the area. She has appeared in various TV programmes about the life of Jane Haining as well as visiting Budapest at an event to commemorate her role in protecting Jewish girls in her care.
