Many young people within our community often care for family members and assist with household duties in addition to their school studies.
Rotary Midsomer Norton & Radstock together with BANES Carers Centre organised a fun day for around 85 of the young people aged 5 to 17 years of age together with other members of their families.
Hosted by Rotarians Tina & Martin at their farmhouse home on the Mendips, the day was a tremendous success with the warm autumn sunshine adding to the enjoyment.
Our young guests enjoyed Archery, Go Carts, Various Outdoor Games, and Toy Pig Racing. The resident Alpacas and Chickens proved to be a great attraction for young and old alike.
Coleford Scout Group assisted Rotary to entertain throughout the day as did Frome Town Archers.
Rotarians also manned the barbecue and sustained all involved on this fabulous day out for some amazing you people
