Stroke Awareness Day 2019
Rotarians get hearts beating in Clitheroe!
Clitheroe Rotarians, Mary Robinson and Alan Yearing, would like to thank all those who visited the Stroke Awareness day held in Clitheroe. Approximately 100 people had their blood pressure tested, with around 8 being referred to their Doctor, this is a higher percentage than in other years.
Also thanks to all the organisations who came along to support Rotary and to promote a healthier life style and the health professionals who carried out the tests. And the Rotarians, partners and friends who helped on the day.
Our book sale raised £146 for charity and the unsold books have been donated to the Cancer Research shop.
